VU Highlighted Handouts. So I use handouts as a bit of a compromise between presenting a PowerPoint, which I think invites a little bit of a passive attitude on the student’s side, sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the show. And at the other end, students have to copy everything that the instructor writes down on the board. I honestly don’t know that I have this figured out completely in terms of how to use the handouts.

But on the one hand, the handouts serve as a vehicle for the students to learn in class. On the other hand, the handouts serve as a study guide after class. For more other handouts and midterm past papers click here.
